Telecoming managed premium content portals across multiple verticals — TV, music, sports — all connected to payment platforms like PayPal. The existing CMS required design or engineering involvement for every layout change. The goal was to invert that: give content teams genuine autonomy.

Redesigning the CMS so teams could work independently
Over two years at Telecoming I designed the CMS and design system powering multi-vertical content portals — TV, music, sports — connected to payment platforms.

Features
What we built
Layout list redesign
Table view with key data — name, type, and modification date — plus a collapsible section with additional info (creator, description) and quick preview without opening the editor.
Section aliases
An identifying label per section to locate its position and configuration faster — especially useful in long pages with many similar sections.
Copy sections
Full section cloning with all components and configurations included. No need to reconfigure from scratch.
Drag & drop between sections and columns
Vertical reordering of sections and horizontal reordering of rows within each section. The cursor changes state when hovering a movable element — no visible instruction text needed.
Page minimap
A mini view of the full layout in a side panel. Navigate and edit structure without infinite scrolling. Only visible when the page exceeds screen height.
Reorganised component library
Component grid ordered by primary content type (text, multimedia, navigation) and alphabetically. Search by name. Brief description per component.
Space selection when inserting sections
The space for a new section is selected before creation — like PowerPoint. The new section appears pushing existing ones down.
Section type switching
Change section type directly without deleting and recreating. If the section has no content, it is replaced with a single click.
Fixed header
Key actions remain visible regardless of page length. Long scroll, actions always within reach.
{'Reflexión' if is_es else 'Reflection'}
Team autonomy as a design outcome
The biggest success of the CMS wasn't aesthetic. It was that content teams could update, reorganise, and extend pages without depending on design or engineering for every change. That autonomy was the real goal from the start.
